Telos Snowboards is a Utah-based brand with a strong sustainability focus. Founded by riders who wanted to build better boards without trashing the mountains they ride, Telos uses recycled and bio-based materials throughout their construction — most notably the bio-based topsheets and recycled edge materials that appear across their range. Their splitboards are made specifically for backcountry use, not adapted from resort shapes.
Telos Splitboard Lineup
The Telos split range includes the versatile Lemurian (their bestseller), the ultralight Lemurian Carbon, the all-mountain DST and DST Carbon, and the powder-oriented Back/Slash. The Lemurian series is available in both standard glass and carbon layups, making it accessible to both budget-conscious and weight-obsessed tourers.

Who Are Telos Splitboards For?
Telos appeals to environmentally aware riders who don’t want to compromise on performance to ride sustainably. The Lemurian is an excellent all-round split for intermediate-to-advanced riders; the Carbon variants suit those doing longer objectives where weight matters. The Back/Slash’s wider nose and shorter tail make it a strong powder specialist for experienced freeriders.
Telos Construction Philosophy
Telos uses sustainably sourced Paulownia cores, bio-based topsheets made from castor bean oil, and recycled steel edges where possible. Their carbon models use carbon fibre for weight reduction without adding synthetic materials where alternatives exist. The result is boards that perform at the level you’d expect from a serious backcountry brand while leaving a smaller environmental footprint than most competitors.
