Updated for the 26/27 season
The Salomon HPS Taka Split 2.0 is part of the Salomon 2026/27 splitboard line. The split version of the Taka pro model — Salomon calls it its lightest powder profile, built for float without giving up mobility on the skin track. This page lists what Salomon publishes about it, and is honest about what we have not assessed yet.

What we have not rated yet
Flex: not published as a number. Salomon describes the flex only as “medium”, and we do not turn that into a figure. Our flex ratings start from the manufacturer’s own published number and are normalised onto a single 1–10 scale — where a brand publishes nothing, the field stays empty. You can read the whole method in what a flex rating actually means.
Rider weight range: not published. Same rule. When Salomon publishes a range, or we have enough to state one honestly, it appears here.
This is a specification page, not a ride review. We have not ridden this board, and we would rather say so than write a verdict we cannot stand behind.
